Synopsis:
Don’t fall for your roommate…especially when he’s your best friend.
Cooper Bennett is my best friend.
That’s all he is and all he ever will be.
Nothing will change that.
Accidentally seeing him naked? Please. So not a big deal.
Having less-than-tame thoughts? I mean, have you seen this guy? Who could blame me?
Kissing him? It was a one-time mistake, and it will not be repeated.
Falling into bed with him? Uh-oh…
It’s fine. We’re fine.
We’re Caroline and Cooper. Best friends until the end. Nothing has ever come our way that we couldn’t survive together.
Surely, we can handle this too…

My Review:
Teagan Hunter is becoming one of my new favorite authors! This book, I loved it so much! Not only was it hilarious, it had one scene, their first time “together” that was so hot, it definitely had me fanning myself as well! And once again it wasn’t just that, it was that I connected on such a basic level with Caroline. I mean, lucky for her that she’s naming off all the little things that I see other people have and want, but she’s not 48 years old like I am. It’s just pathetic at my age. But I really, really felt everything she was feeling at the beginning. The relationship/friendship she had with Cooper was the best. It was fun and sarcastic, and exactly the type of relationship I love. I also adored how they made anniversaries for even the silliest things, including the moment when the accidentally seeing Cooper naked! All the memories they would bring up, totally reminded me of when my family and I do the Chris Farley funny quote of, “you remember when…”.
Of course I also am a big fan of when an author brings in the characters we know from other books in the series, in this case, River and Dean, who I loved in book one. It’s fun to see those characters again, to see their relationships or personalities from the viewpoint of another character. And it’s really great when the author is able to make them still seem like the same person but with another person’s eyes on them.
I’m seriously not kidding about how hot that scene was, or at least how much it really got to me. And the humor, I hate to compare authors, because all of my favorites really have their own things about them that I like, but I’d have to say that Teagan Hunter is going into the same category for me as Emma Hart. An author that I think I’ll have to go back and read all her back catalog, and can only hope to meet at a live book event some day, if we ever get to have them again! Oh yeah, best quote from the book:
“Accidents don’t just happen accidentally.”
About the Author:
I’m a Missouri-raised gal, but currently live in North Carolina with my US Marine husband and 9-year-old dog. I spend my days begging him for a cat, and I survive off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When I’m not writing, you can find me binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. I like cold weather, buy more paperbacks than I’ll ever read, and I never say no to brownies.
Writing is my passion, and this is just the beginning of my journey.
