Top 10 of 2020: Favorite Book Boyfriends

Top 10 of 2020 is hosted once again by Kimberly Faye Reads, and this year she has four co-hosts: Sarah (@dragonflyreads) | Kate (@kate_reads_), Mollie (@molliesbookshelf) & Jenica (@firewhiskeyreader)

Technically the topic for today is supposed to be OTP or Favorite couple. But I have more fun listing my favorite book boyfriends from the year, so that’s what I’m sharing!

Cooper Bennett from Love They Neighbor. I loved the friendship he had with Caroline. He’s exactly what I’d want in a relationship!

Sebastian Stone is a hot baseball player who loves nerdy book girl Holley, and her little idiosyncrasies make him love her even more. Exactly again the type of guy I think I need to fall in love with me. Well, I guess it doesn’t have to be a hot baseball player, but you know we can dream! Here is my review for The Bookworm’s Guide to Faking It.

And of course, Luc, one of JLA’s boys has to have a spot this year, even with one of my first announced book boyfriends in his book, Daemon Black. Here is my review of The Brightest Night.

The first book in this series gave us Josh Carter. I loved him and even the whole conversation about Harry Potter in this book thrilled my Hufflepuff heart. Here is my review for The Bookworm’s Guide to Dating.

Ryan Kingston, or King, is probably also perfect for me in that his favorite tv show is also mine, The Big Bang Theory. I liked the goodie two shoes that he was in public. That is almost perfect for what I am probably like too. But it doesn’t mean that was him behind closed doors with his girl Queenie. This final book in the series was perfect. Here is my review for A Secret for a Secret.

Dean Evans was the love interest in the first book of this series, the second book I read and loved by this author. He just was hilarious in how he poked at River, and I loved all the little barbs and annoying-ness between the two. So much fun. Here is my review for Loathe Thy Neighbor.

Buzz Wallace could have been a top 10 character from that earlier post, but since I adore him and want him as a book boyfriend, he gets his spot on this list. Even though he made his appearance in other books in this series. He is right up there along with Jason Orson from The Lineup by Meghan Quinn and Mal Ericson from Play by Kylie Scott. Here is my review of Hard Fall.

Ronan Knight was perfect! A sexy hot guy who loves Harry Potter? Count me in! Sign me up! Where is mine? Here is my review of Kiss My Cupcake.

Brig Knightly almost got a spot in the Top 10 Characters as well, because he appears in all the other books in this series, but I decided since I wanted him for myself, again I’d save him for the Book Boyfriend post. He is so funny, and so mushy, and I just adored him! Here is my review for That Swoony Feeling.

And you didn’t think I was going to let one of these Top 10 lists go by without a mention of this book did you? Ralph. I mean, oh my gosh. The hilariousness of this book, and him and just even his name. The whole bit at the beginning thinking he was actually Alf. And then thinking about how weird it would be to cry out the name Ralph in the throes of ecstasy. Lol. Again, if you haven’t yet, you should really read my review of Flirtasaurus.

Final Thoughts:

Will I be fighting any of you for the rights to any of these book boyfriends? Did you discover any new book boyfriends this year that you want to talk about?
