I think this is a really fun event to take part in. I love promoting authors that I enjoy, as well as learning about new authors. And here bloggers get to join in! Debut authors are the best to promote. I think, in general, there's such excitement about new writing and getting published for the first time – the kind of excitement that translates for readers and writers alike. Looking forward to reading about some new authors from you :).

Wow, thanks, I just signed up! This sounds like a great event. It's difficult to persuade people to try new authors when so many wonderful, established authors release new books every year, so this is a really nice thing to be involved with. (Hope it works out!)
So glad you signed up! That was what I was hoping would happen when I posted this. I get to read a lot of new authors through Netgalley and Edelweiss. But you're right, there are so many established authors out there it is hard to fit in new authors!
