Nadia Ray is not just a broadcast meteorologist. She’s Boston’s

ashamed of behind her and is forging a future she can be proud of. However,
when her new boss discovers her secret he blackmails her, intent on using
Nadia’s popularity to make them the number one morning show in Massachusetts.
He wants her to be part of uncovering the city’s biggest scandal – a secret
billionaire Caine Carraway is hiding.

Soon
Nadia is thrown into the path of Caine’s best friend: sexy, wealthy bachelor
Henry Lexington. But she doesn’t encounter the dashing high society gentleman
Henry is purported to be. Instead she’s faced with an insulting and defensive
villain who misjudges her at every turn.

When
Henry finally realizes the truth, and decides to make amends, Nadia wants
nothing to do with him. But she underestimates his determination and charm and
soon they find themselves embroiled in an intense, passionate affair.

An
affair Nadia knows must come to an end before their feelings grow any deeper
and he discovers her secrets.

After
all, Henry Lexington isn’t the only one who played the part of a villain once…

My Review:
Once again Samantha Young has written a perfect love story, with back stories and hidden details that keep you reading and feeling all the way through.  Henry was someone who made me laugh in Hero, and so when I heard the author was going to be giving us Henry’s story, I was excited to read about his happy ever after.   We got to meet Nadia in Hero, and I really liked her.  So when she keeps alluding to something in her past that makes her not good enough for Henry, I can’t for the life of me imagine what it could be.  And then there are the gifts she gets from someone in her past, that is like a stalker, and we don’t quite know who he is, or what the story it, but it lends an air of mystery that kept me guessing the whole way through.  The book is told from Nadia’s point of view, and you felt for her the whole time.  At the beginning, Henry came across as someone not as nice, especially the way he acted toward Nadia at first.  In fact I figured that something had already happened between the two the way it started, I figured at first the stalker issues were Henry, but it wasn’t.  The story started before we had met her in Hero, and I liked getting that back story.
Another book I will be highly recommending to people, as with all of the other books I’ve read by Samantha Young.
