Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where we spotlight upcoming releases that we’re eagerly awaiting. I’ve picked the final book in a trilogy that I’ve really enjoyed so far. I listened the 2nd book on audiotape a few months ago, and am really ready to find out how it will all end. Here is the blurb from Goodreads:
We’re here, then we’re gone, and that was true before they came. That’s always been true. The Others didn’t invent death; they just perfected it. Gave death a face to put back in our face, because they knew that was the only way to crush us. It won’t end on any continent or ocean, no mountain or plain, jungle or desert. It will end where it began, where it had been from the beginning, on the battlefield of the last beating human heart.
Master storyteller Rick Yancey invokes triumph, loss, and unrelenting action as the fate of the planet is decided in the conclusion to this epic series.
So that’s my book that I’m waiting on this week, I have a little less than 2 months to wait now! What book are you eagerly awaiting this week?
I still haven't even finished the first book in this series! Whoops! I think I will eventually, although I might see the movie first… I hope you love this one! 😀
Here's my WoW!
Sometimes it is better to see the movie before you read it. I actually liked the movie! Thanks for stopping by!
I haven't read any of this series, but I hope you enjoy reading this book.

I really need to get caught up on this series! I've only read the first book. I'll have to work on that once this one is released 😀

I can't wait to see how it turns out. I'm not sure where it is going to go, and I love when an author can keep me guessing like that! Thanks for returning the visit.
I'm waiting on this too! I haven't read book two yet, mostly due to the fact that life has been busy but also figuring I'd hold off til closer to this one is out so I don't have to wait!
I listened to the audiobook of the 2nd one, right before the movie came out, and now I'm really excited to see how it is going to finish! Thanks for stopping by!
Ahhh. Loving the fifth wave!!

I don't know that I'll be sad. This is the type of story that I really need to know how it all ends, and that will make me happy. Well, depending how it ends that is. 🙂
Lots of peeps have loved this series. I haven't started it YET. I want to. If I could just do something about the day job. Thanks for stopping by StuckInBooks!
YOu should try it out! And yeah, those day jobs sure do get in the way. 🙂 Thanks for returning the visit!
Great pick Lisa I've been dying to read this series for a long time now, but I am hopeful that I can check out this trilogy out from the library soon when the last and final book comes out. Thank you for your awesome post Lisa!
It'll be nice that you'll get to just read them all right in a row if you wait till May. Thanks for stopping by!
