OMG I totally want this book. I had a crush on River when I was a kid. Sad he died so young…..
It's pretty interesting. Not boring at all, like sometimes memoirs or biographies can be.

That's a great quote! I love analysing pop culture, so that line is the sort of thing which would make me pick up this book. It's great when a biography can put a famous person in the context of the times in which he lived. =)
I think that is what made it so much more interesting to read than biographies can often be.
