Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where we spotlight upcoming releases that we’re eagerly awaiting. My choice this week is the final installment in a post-apocalyptic trilogy that I’ve really enjoyed and been lucky enough to read e-galleys of the first two. Here is the blurb for it from Goodreads.com:
When Kaelyn and her friends reached Toronto with a vaccine for the virus that has ravaged the population, they thought their journey was over—but hope has eluded them once again. Now there is a dangerous group of survivors intent on tracking them down and stealing the cure no matter the costs.Forced onto the road again, Kaelyn redoubles her efforts to find a safe haven. But when the rest of her group starts to fall apart, the chances for her success grow slim. Kaelyn’s resolve is strong, but is she willing to surrender everything in order to stay alive?
I’ve really enjoyed the series, and can’t wait to see how it will finish up. What book or books are you eagerly awaiting this week?
This is set in Toronto?! Wooh! Finally a Canadian city featured in a YA book! Awesome pick!
It's always cool to see different places featured.
Sounds like a good one, haven't heard of this. Thanks for showcasing it!
Thanks for stopping by!
Great pick! I really want to start this series; it seems like something I'd enjoy.
Well you may get to start it and read all three in a row! It's always nice when you can do that and not have to wait in between.
Oh cool a third book! I still haven't read the second but I thought the first has its moments so it's at least familiar to me.
The 2nd one was pretty good too. You can read my review HERE.
