I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday, which was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!
So, if you’re a romance reader, you might have seen lots of authors posting about Tara Sivec’s battle with breast cancer lately. In fact they did a thing where they all decided that February 26th was going to be Tara Sivec Day. Of course I did all the posting and all that, but I wanted to do something special on my blog, and didn’t get it done on that day. So I’m using my Top 10 post this week for it. Because even though I did really like the topic for this week, I didn’t have time to sit down and pick those 10 books for that. Also, the special images were made by Ana’s Attic, and she shared them so we could promote all of this to help Tara!

Here are my top 10 Tara Sivec books.

So I tried to limit it to just one or two from the series, but as you can see, some of her series were just so good, especially those in the Seduction and Snacks/Chocoholics that I had to pick more than one. Here is a reading guide for her books:

If you love a laugh out loud romantic comedy. At times they can be quite raunchy – the humor. Crazy kids, and sometimes so much emotion, you really should give her books a try. I donated to her GoFundMe when it first went up. I believe they are still taking any donations HERE.
My next way to help out is buying her books. Especially the ones I haven’t read yet. However, I know I can’t just go buy them all like I wish I could. Instead I’m doing my best by buying one with each paycheck. Whether that’s ordering a physical copy or purchasing the audiobook, that’s my way to help, as little as it may be.
Final Thoughts
So, have you read Tara Sivec before? If not, do any of these look like books you’d enjoy? Tara is like my unicorn author to meet. I think she must be so much fun to be around. I’m hopeful that some day I will get to meet her in person. I also loved the movie that Passionflix made from Seduction and Snacks. It’s one of the two or three they’ve made that I can watch over and over!
I have not read any of her books. Are they steamy? If not, then I will pick up a couple. Let me know. This was a great choice for today’s #TTT, Lisa.
Sorry to say for you that her books are pretty steamy, they probably wouldn’t be your type. 🙁
I have read and listened to a few of her books. Wishing her well!
It’s not a lot I can do, but I am trying any way I can!
I wish I could afford to donate! I’ll let my social circles know about this fundraiser. Good luck to Tara.
I donated a little, but can’t afford to do much more. So I’m sharing, and like I said, buying a book with every paycheck!
I’m sorry to hear about Tara, but I love that you put this post together. It looks like she’s written quite a few books!
She has written a lot of fun books! She even has one that isn’t romance at all, and some day I need to still read it.
I’m not a romance reader, so I’ve never heard of this author. It’s awful that she has cancer, though, and I’m sure all the support from her fans means the world to her.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

Thanks for visiting!
Oh wow! That’s incredible that you did this as well as other readers! Truly wonderful to show your support! I remember trying to do some kind of posts for when Rachel Caine was sick with cancer. This is a new to me author, but I think it’s amazing that you made a post just for her and her books!
I have been thinking about doing a post just for her books for a while because of this.
That’d be cool! I mainly read her Weather Warden books. I tried to read her YA series when it came out since it had vampires but I couldn’t really get into it. I did enjoy her thrillers that she was writing as well. Basically my picks would end up being favorite Weather Warden novels! Lol.
I like it!
I have not read any of her books but I certainly love that you are supporting her with her cancer journey.
She is probably a little too steamy for your usual reads. But I do love her humor so much!
I’ve only read Shame on You and it was a hoot. Great of you to show such support, too.
That is a fun series!
I’ve read a couple of her books years ago. They were pretty funny if I remember. So nice that you put this together, Lisa! My heart goes out to her and her family!
I just felt like it was a thing I wanted to do. And I do love her books and she is such a wonderful fun person online!
