Merry Kissmas by Piper Rayne is now live!
Six years ago, he was her one-night stand, and now they’re sharing a villa for the holidays.
I thought I was over him. That his good looks and British accent couldn’t affect me anymore. But the minute our eyes lock across the elevator, all those feelings come roaring back to life.
Then I find out we’re competing for the same job.
Next comes the realization that we have to spend a week together on a ski vacation because of some six-degree-of-separation nonsense.
The real kicker is when I find out the two of us have to share a villa. A very small, very cozy villa.
Needless to say, this Christmas getaway is starting off rockier than the mountains we’ll be skiing down.
I’ve stayed away for years, what’s one week? But I forgot how much easier it is to ignore him with an ocean separating us—especially when he’s determined to win me back.

My Review
I have wanted to read something by this author duo for a while, and this one popped up for a review at a perfect time to fit it in! I have several freebies, so now I know I’ll have to get to them sooner! I also found two that are holiday and obviously go with this one because of the characters, but it’s not a series. They’re on Audible, so I’ll probably get them there!
So I really enjoyed this book! It had all the things you’d expect in a forced proximity, enemies to lovers, one bed, holiday read! I have found I enjoy books where the families or people engage in fun holiday competitions, even if I know I might not always be the type of person to do that. I loved the ones they did though. A cookie decorating contest, gingerbread house contest, tree decorating, and snowman building, those are the ones I would love to be a part of. This was a rom-com for sure with al the crazy things that happened during the competitions as well as with their family and friends.
It was a quick read with some romantic times, some steamy times, and some good humor as I mentioned above. The misunderstandings for the most part were understandable, and how the characters went about fixing those things or realizing the truth was very realistic in my opinion, and not at all overly dramatic in a way I would have complained about.
A quick fun holiday read that I definitely recommend, and I’ll be sure to read more by this author duo in the future!

I’m about to start reading holiday books later this week. However, I already have about 3000 options. Glad this one worked for you.
I know, right? I keep thinking: “oh, I’ll read that for the readathon, then remember I’m pretty much already booked with what I’m going to read.
This sounds fun. I am participating in the readathon as well and already have WAY too many choices I want to get to. Glad this one was such a hit for you!
I know! I keep thinking, ooh, I’ll add this one, then remember it’s not really as much time as I think since I still have a couple review books I have to do too! And only one of those is a holiday book, and I don’t even think I’m getting it at this point since it is supposed to come out this week I thought.
Holiday RomComs are the best. I’m making a list of movies and books for December.
They are my favorites! This was a cute and quick read.
This sounds like a fun read and one I would enjoy if not too steamy! Great review Lisa!
It was steamy, but not as steamy as some books I read.
