Blurb:

There are two things I can’t get out of my head. My completely inappropriate feelings for my stupidly hot best friend, Keegan, and a vacuum. Right now, the vacuum is taking the front seat. It’s the key for landing a major client—and the only way I’llfinally prove that I’ve been the creative mastermind behind my ad team’s success. Nothing—not even my embarrassing stutter—is going to get in my way.

Putting myself in the team’s spotlight also puts me on my ridiculously hot CEO’s radar. How am I supposed to navigate a lifelong stutter, my boss’s unexpected interest, and Keegan staring in all of my nighttime fantasies, all while nailing the biggest pitch of my career? Head Over Feels is a laugh-out-loud, single POV, friends to lovers rom-com featuring a hilarious squad of friends, a swoony slow burn, and a heart-felt HEA for a woman who thinks she has it all figured out.

I loved this author’s SmartyPants Romance books and have been trying to fit in her other books. When I got the chance to listen to this one on audio, I jumped on the chance! And boy was I glad I did! There was so much fun silly little stuff in the story, banter, things that happened, all the reasons I’ve adored the other books I’ve read by this author. I also totally got how she felt about wanting to be a different person, although while her reason was her stutter, mine is maybe for my insecurities. I also had the same kind of experience with speed dating! So I get it.

I connected a lot with Meg, but I did get a bit frustrated with her and how she didn’t quite give Keegan a chance in some ways towards the end. Also how she tried to be secretive with her identity when it didn’t seem her boss realized it was her after the makeover. There was no way that wasn’t going to explode. But I liked the way it played out completely different than I expected. And there was the misunderstanding that also made me cranky. Although I wondered about a bathroom confrontation, that didn’t show up even in the spot it might have in another story.

The narrators were perfect. It was duet narration even though we really only got Meg’s point of view. Which was nice, even if I would still love to have Keegan’s POV too.

Once again this author has won me over with wonderful characters, dialogue, situations, and romance. Definitely a recommended listen/read from me!
