Top Ten Tuesday: Halloween Freebie – My Favorite Scary Movies

I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday, which was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!

I was going to do books, but then I figured I’d end up with mostly Stephen King, so I decided to do movies instead.

This movie still gets me to jump, not all the movies in the series are this great, but most of them do have a creepy scene or two that still get me.

This movie will ALWAYS scare me! All three of them have some of the scariest moments.

The first one was really good, but the second one will always be my favorite!

The first two are the best!

The whole series, but especially some of the first ones!

The second one is the scariest in my opinion!

Of course one of my favorites as well, the nightmares from this one!

This one both the first and second were really scary at times!

Another one that is totally overlooked I think.

Even knowing the twist, there are still so many scary parts of this movie that freak me out the way they filmed them every time.

One final added because of one specific scene that makes me jump every time is Signs. The scene where they’re watching the sightings in other countries on tv and then the alien walks by the camera, every time it creeps me out!

Great list, these are all so good. I’ve watched all of them multiple times. The Sixth Sense scared me so bad when I first watched it, that scene when he wakes up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Happy Halloween! I love the blog header 🙂

  2. I love the entire Conjuring franchise. We always catch them when new ones come out. I used to love Freddie when I was younger. There was a girl in my high school who was terrified of him, and she lived on Elm Street. One night a bunch of guys started jumping rope at 3am in front of her street and singing the song. I’m not sure she ever recovered!
