I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday, which was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!
For me, I love finding the top 10 books that I can do a cover search, so I’m picking 10 books I’ve enjoyed with food on the cover, which often means it had yummy food in the story as well!
I just went through the books I’d read over the last 5 years and came up with these fun ones! What do you think of my covers? Have you read any of them? Do you have a favorite cover or story of your own that fits this topic?
Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post where bloggers discuss a wide range of topics from books and blogging to life in general, hosted by Jen at That’s What I’m Talking About. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog. Feel free to leave your links in the comments if you are participating.
If you are interested in participating in TMST or receiving periodic emails that list the upcoming TMST topics and questions, please fill out this GOOGLE FORM. Participation is optional and never required.
Lately I have been trying my hardest to comment on blogs as much as possible. Of course school starting back this past month messed me up a little. But I like to get emails of posts if possible. And then I save those to a comment folder in my G-mail to go back to when I have time. I also will use links that commenters leave on my own posts. And then I do several different weekly or monthly posts and try to go comment on others from that as well.
How do you keep up with your favorite blogs?
I enjoyed Salt and Sugar, set in Recife area where my sister-in-law grew up. I also like Amanda Elliot books like Sadie on a Plate.
Oh! That’s cool! Yeah, I liked that book a lot!
Legends & Lattes has been on so many lists this week!
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.
It had some yummy sounding food!
You have some nice books piked for Top Ten topic this week. As for TMST I try to be active in commenting and I follow mostly via emails for blogs. Life has changed a lot and I’m more busy. Have a great week!
Yeah, being more busy makes it harder to do all the commenting I want!
OOh nice picks! I feel like there’s a lot of contemporary or mysteries where this would be easy to do! I got about halfway through when I needed to start thinking creatively! Lol.
Thanks for visiting my TTT!
Oh now that you mention mysteries, I completely forgot all the Diane Mott Davidson books I used to read and loved and were about a caterer, so always about food!
I love reading about food, so I want to check out some of these. Legends and Lattes as well as Salt and Sugar are already on my wishlist. I like the cover for The Secret Recipe for Moving On.
Me too! I love when a book has me seeking out new foods to try.
This was a fun prompt and I wish I did it. I love when books feature food, although then it makes me want to eat all the delicious food, lol! I keep up with blogs by adding them to my blog roll on my sidebar and it automatically lists the new posts there. Usually, I’ll have to do a catch up and read through several posts and comment in one sitting.
You could always go back and do it when they have the freebie week!
Very cute. I’ve read a few Jackie Lau books that are food-centric. In general, I feel like I’ve read a few with bakeries, so primarily donuts, pies, etc. And I did read a cozy series set in an ice-cream shop. I’m sure that there are others…
I do love all the books with food in them, they are always fun to read!
