This is another one I often have to divide up into romance/adult books versus YA. I narrowed it down to 10 this year since a few of them were authors I’d read more than one book from. Again covers should be linked to reviews.
I’ve wanted to read Talia Hibbert’s books before now, but this YA title I was lucky enough to get an ARC of and now I know I want to read all her books!
I also have wanted to read this author since her last book, so getting the e-galley of this one definitely makes me eager to read more!
I’ve heard tons of good things about this author, but only had a chance to pick this up as part of the Gateway committee I am on. But now I can’t wait to read the sequel and if I ever have time go back and read the rest!
Another author/author pair I’d been wanting to read for awhile. Now I see low ratings for this on Goodreads, but I enjoyed it!
This was a new author to me from the SmartyPants Romance line. I’ve found several new authors to love over the past few years thanks to this publisher!
Another new to me author that I met through the SmartyPants Romance world!
Now I had an ARC from this author, I think maybe from the last time I went to the ALA convention in NOLA. I didn’t ever get to it, even though I really wanted to, and after reading this one, I know I need to read more!
All of these were for blog tour reviews and I really enjoyed them, enough to read the whole series so far you can see!
As I keep saying, another author I’d been thinking about reading for a while. I got the second book in this series through Book of the Month Club, and so got this audiobook to listen to first.
I’d been hearing so much love for these books, but I had a bit of a block against a married couple in romances, a personal issue I have since I have been single my whole life and prefer to read books where I can connect with the characters. Fortunately I think the male POV for them really helps, at least for the first one. The second one was more my speed in that department. Can’t wait to read on in this series!
Final Thoughts
Tell me, are any of these authors new to you? Or are any old favorites? What new or new-to-you authors did you read this year?
If you want to do this and link up, you can go to Books of My Heart and find the post for today’s topic!
Coming Up the Rest of This Week:
Saturday December 30th – Top 10 Books I Want to Read in 2024
I’m happy to hear you were able to read the Bromance Book Club as they are fun and a bit different than usual. It’s fun to think back over the new finds from the year. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah, I’m now all in on that series!
I love encountering new to me authors each year. You read some good ones this year.
I wonder if I’ll get as many since I’m hoping to cut back on blog tours, but we will see!
Jimenez and Adams are both authors I love, so I’m glad you found them. I have not read any of the others. I guess I need to check them out in 2024!
If you get a chance I hope you enjoy them too!
I really enjoyed the Bromance Book Club. Hope you do too.
I’ve enjoyed the first two books in the series, so pretty much hooked now!
