Top 10 of 2022 – Best of the Best (Favorite Books)

Posted December 19, 2022 by Lisa Mandina in Top 10 / 32 Comments

So this is always the hardest one to do for me. I usually end up having to do top 10 romance books and top 10 YA books. This year, because I just didn’t have a ton of time to wade through and decide, and so many were just good books, I narrowed it down to just 10. But these are all books I read a copy of and not audiobooks since I’m doing that as its own day. No particular order!

Final Thoughts

Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them? What is your favorite book of the year? If you want to do this and link up, you can go to Books of My Heart and find the post for today’s topic!

True, that is nice that you’re reading more of a mix! I still just can barely stand to do any adult books other than romance. But I do read the variety of genres for YA.

  1. I also loved Jane’s, Dixon’s, and Hazelwood’s books. I read my first Murphy book this year, but it wasn’t that one. I guess I need to give it a read! I already have that Painter book on my list, too. Nice list!

I somehow got on Monica Murphy’s review team and I’m not upset as I always enjoy her stuff! Thanks for stopping by!

The Love Hypothesis is amazing and so funny! LOVE IT! I also read Ice Planet Barbarians and it’s pretty steamy for a frozen planet book!

Agreed on both of those! I started Ice Planet Barbarians expecting to do a lot of laughing at ridiculousness, but I was sucked right in, and definitely fanning myself during some of those scenes!

  3. Great to see your top ten books. I heard lots of good things about the Ice Planet Barbarians series, but haven’t read it myself yet. I like the book cover for Ever After.

I wasn’t sure about the Ice Planet Barbarians series, but the first book convinced me. Thanks for stopping by!

I have really enjoyed the Hazelwood books even though I know some people say they’re all the same. So at least read one I guess! lol Luminaries was very good!
