Top 10 of 2020 is hosted once again by Kimberly Faye Reads.
As usual, today’s topic is an easier one for me because I can narrow it down to just the books from this past year. And I will do the list in no particular order as that makes it even harder for me to figure out!
I chose this as one of my Book of the Month picks because it sounded good. And I’ve heard so many good things about it! But haven’t had time to get to it. I’ll probably put it on a Tackle My TBR Challenge list for 2022.
I had really wanted to read this one, but didn’t get a copy before it came out. I would say I need to buy a copy, but then my TBR bookcase is pretty full. Maybe some day!
This one also sounded so good! I hope to get to it one day. It is in my library, I will maybe check it out.
Another one that I heard good things about, and so made it one of my Book of the Month picks. So I have it, just need to find time to read it!
Another one I want to read and bought several months after it came out. I gave it to my mom to read since I knew it would be a while to get to it. Don’t know if she’s read it. I have a feeling she just stuck it to the side and will give it back to me saying she didn’t have time to read it. Oh well.
I really liked this series, but didn’t get this one from the publisher like I had with the first two, so I didn’t get to it this year. Maybe I’ll add it to a Series Ender challenge for this year!
Yet another one I heard great things about and had to rush out and buy, and it still is sitting on my TBR bookcase.
This book was on my Top 10 books I was most looking forward to in 2021 at the end of last year. Sadly I did not get to it. Hmm. I should go back and see how many of those I actually got to!
I’m a new Max Monroe fan, but this one sounds a lot like books by Emma Hart, one of my all time favorites, so I was very much interested in it. Unfortunately when it came out I didn’t sign up for the review tour because I was already so booked! You’d think next year I’d do better, but my January and February are already pretty booked!
So these were part of the SmartyPants Romance launch this past spring. I didn’t sign up for them because I was so busy, and I had actually started one book by Nix on audio and DNFed it. But now I’m wishing I’d gone ahead and read them because I read the third one in this series by a different author and loved it, and now I just want to go back to these!
Final Thoughts:
So tell me, did you read any of these? Were they on your TBR as well? What books do you wish you’d made time to read this past year?

You’re so good! I still have most of mine to get done. I wrote them all out on paper but just have to set them up on here. I’ll be over to check yours out!
My daughter has been at her father’s, it is his year for Christmas. I do lots of blogging and reading when she is gone to make the time for by faster; it really helps! Otherwise I would be doing them day to day and probably forgetting, lol
The only reason I’m remembering is because I put them on my blog calendar and started planning them out a week or so ago so I can just type it up reasonably quickly. lol
The Love Hypothesis lived up to the hype for me. I hope you get to it. Happily Ever Afters and Last Chance Books were good, but didn’t blow me away, which was what I expected. Oops I’ve Fallen was hilarious.
Glad to hear it! I had seen a lot of good reviews. Then the other day I saw some author post on TikTok that it was terrible. But I still want to read it. I actually unfollowed that author on TikTok because I don’t like when authors bad mouth other author’s books. Since I own it, I’ll get to it. I think it is on a challenge list for me this year. I need to get my hands on Oops I’ve Fallen, in fact, I’ll probably just go ahead and order a copy, lol.
Wow! Can’t believe an author did that. EEK! Oops is 99 cents for ebook on Amazon right now
Ah, I don’t know if I’ll buy it as an ebook, but I might do it for that price. I just don’t always fit those in because I read all the egalleys and then want “real” books for pleasure. Hmm, that price is so tempting! Yeah, it was the first video that popped up on my TikTok the other day and I listened, but none of the reasons were good enough in my opinion to do that. She didn’t say that was the book, but when other people commented I think she kind of gave it away when they asked.
I just commented on your post you linked here, but didn’t see my comment pop up. So you might check your spam. 🙂
I have a long list of books I meant to read this year, and I’ll probably post it in January sometime. Good luck in getting to these next year, and Merry Christmas!
Yeah, I think I’ll get to some, but who knows about the others. Thanks for visiting, hope you had a Merry Christmas!
I have a Kelsey Rodkey book on my TBR list that I had hoped to get to as well. Here is my link: https://cindysbookcorner.blogspot.com/2021/12/books-i-wish-i-had-read-this-year.html
Yeah, need to check her out! I’ll be over to check out your post!
I’ve had a hold on The Love Hypothesis for at least a month or two on Overdrive lol. I think I’m now number 9 or 11 haha, so I’ll get to it eventually! Here’s hoping we both love!
I bought it when it was available from Book of the Month Club, but again, still sitting on my TBR shelf. lol HOpe we both get to it and enjoy it!
