Synopsis:
Don’t fall for your roommate…especially when it’s only temporary.
Nolan Brooks is off limits.
Sure, he’s insanely attractive and funny and I might have almost gone home with him one night to relieve a little stress.
Big deal.
It was all just a momentary lapse in judgment…just like the kiss we shared.
He’s my temporary roommate while I wait for my new apartment to be ready. That’s it.
He’s doesn’t do relationships, and he doesn’t do attachments.
So what if I have a crush on him? We’ll only be there for two months.
Surely I can survive that long.

My Review:
I was so excited to read this one! I have loved the two couples from the first two books in the series, Loathe Thy Neighbor and Love Thy Neighbor. It was fun to get to see Maya and her son Sam, since they were such a big part in the first book for sure. It was also fun seeing Dean from the first book as Sam’s teacher in a different way, not as the love interest. I liked a lot of what this book did. How the characters were definitely honest and realized things they did that were to blame, like the company that Nolan worked for, and how it was affecting Maya’s living situation.
But I was a little irritated with some of how Maya and Nolan dealt with the situation. That is what made me drop it down to 4.5 stars. However I did love having all the time back with the couples from the first books, so much that I kind of want to go back and reread Caroline and Cooper’s story. In fact, I might even have to buy a physical copy to keep around just for that reason. One thing that I thought was done well and right in this story was Maya’s ex-husband. It was easy to see why she didn’t stay with him, but I like that the author showed he really wasn’t a horrible guy. He had issues, and there were a lot of things he needed to do better, but he did love his son, and I love that she made him a mostly good guy in that area as well.
I learned some new terms in this that totally cracked me up, the womb broom, and Satan’s cotton fingers. LOL. This book definitely brought the laughs like the others in the series so far. And I noticed on Facebook there is a fourth one in the works, so I’m very excited about that as well!
