First of all, I’m currently on pins and needles waiting to see how my Kansas City Chiefs will do in the Superbowl tonight. I had my former student make some Chiefs themed cookies for me this past week:
My dog Argyle got his stitches out on Tuesday and the vet said he’s all healed up. I’ve already noticed changes in his behavior since being neutered. He eats anything and everything, whereas he used to be pretty picky, and he isn’t hiking his leg on everything in the house or having to go outside and go pee constantly. So yay for that! I just know now I’ll have to keep an eye on his weight.
Oh, I got my first Covid shot this past week as well.
Only one new physical book this week as you can see from the Instagram photo below:
Trying to keep track of the free ebooks I got this way too:
The Wedding Game by Meghan Quinn wasn’t supposed to be out till the beginning of March, and I had an e-galley of it, but then it was an Amazon First Read choice for February, so I went ahead and got a copy of it. If I can, I’ll try to fit it in before my originally scheduled review date of February 28th. A few of these were free by signing up for the authors’ newsletters.
Then I got a few more e-galleys this week:
Another one in the SmartyPants Romance series, the third by Piper Sheldon and I’m really enjoying her little series. And then I love this cover of the next K. Bromberg book as well as loving its series as well.
The only Bookstagram photos from this week I’ve already shared.
Last week’s posts:
No promo posts because the ones I had scheduled turned out to only be social media posts. I also had one day I didn’t have anything scheduled for, so it was a slower week posting wise.
Weekly posts: Lisa’s Looking Forward To #95 – February 9th, 2021
And I always like to remind people about my monthly wrap-up post giveaway, which I actually posted this past week, so you can go enter it and read that HERE.
How was your week? Did you get any new books? Will you be watching the SuperBowl tonight? Are you rooting for either of the teams, or just enjoying the commercials?
