Synopsis:

Life isn’t always a walk in the park, but when Patrice takes her Pomeranians to the park after a rough day at the office, fate steps in. An unlikely hero comes to the rescue when one of her dogs gets loose. Short, pale, and kind of cute, Seth doesn’t have a lot of confidence with the ladies, but he hits it off with Patrice.

But some things might be too good to be true. While Patrice wonders if Seth could possibly be “the one”, fate steps in again with a horrible twist. Will it be a deal breaker or just a storm before bright blue skies?

My Review:

Short and sweet, and not too much. This was a novella, so not a very long and elaborate story. It was very simple, but also very real in that our main character, or love interest, Seth, is not the hunk that we’re used to seeing in other romance novels. So it was definitely a down to earth kind of story. It had some really cute bits, I loved the dogs for sure. And I also really liked how normal the romance was. I had a little issue with how she obsessed over Seth at first, but then I kind of realized that was normal too, because I do that myself! I liked how the big deal-breaker issue was resolved as well.
