Once again I’ll be joining up with the Can’t Wait Wednesday posts hosted by Wishful Endings. Only one book supposed to be published from my TBR list next week. Seems like the end of the month tends to be that way? But then the first week there are tons of books to share! So come back next Wednesday to check those out. This week’s book looks like it might have been published a while back, but is getting new life, and sounds really good!
Here is the blurb from Goodreads:
Based on a popular play by the same name, John Cariani’s Almost, Maine is a charming and romantic collection of stories that will have you thinking about love in an entirely new way.
Welcome to Almost, Maine, a town that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States—it’s almost in Canada. And it almost doesn’t exist, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it’s just . . . Almost.
One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost and found. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same.
Sound good? Add to Goodreads HERE.
Has anyone seen this play before? it sounds like it would be fun, and maybe a fun tv show, someone get Netflix on the phone! Is this on your TBR, or have you already read it? If so, would you recommend it? And hey, while you’re here, you should go try to win some of my ARCs from Cleaning Up My TBR Post HERE. The US only giveaway is open till Friday at midnight.
