Synopsis:
Don’t touch the nanny. It’s one rule I’m most certainly going to break.
Since becoming a single father, I have two things that keep me sane—my daughter Lily and playing football for the NFL. But when my meddling sister hires a nanny without my knowledge, I’m not thrilled to come home and find the woman has taken over my house. Our instant attraction is one more complication I don’t need in my life.
But my daughter loves Amelia, and I will do anything for that tiny munchkin. Even if it means walking around with blue balls most of the time. Why does the nanny have to be so sweet—and drop dead gorgeous? She’s driving me crazy. Never in my life have I wanted a woman more.
I just need to make it through this season. I can do that. Hands free, of course. But then there’s that moment, and I know she’s thinking what I’m thinking and, well, yeah. Screw the rules…
My Review:
This was a pretty simple story. It was mostly predictable, but that’s okay sometimes because a good story doesn’t always have to be really unique and different, sometimes it is nice to read what you’re comfortable with. It had its steamy moments between Brody and Amelia, and its sweet moments with little Lily as well. It had all the drama of back stories that made their reasons for fighting the relationship make sense. Now, I feel like some of the back stories could have been given more details earlier on in the story, without knowing some of the details it made it irritating at first when they would push each other away for what seemed like no good reason. In the end it all tied up into a nice HEA, and I loved the little family the three of them created together.

Ah I know what you mean! Sometimes books don't have to be overly unique or unpredictable for them to still be sweet enough and a good enough read. I am glad you could enjoy this one 🙂

This is a new-to-me author but I do love sports romances and this one sounds like it's right up my alley. Thanks for sharing this one!
Great! Hope you give it a try soon. Thanks for visiting!
This sounds like a quick read, though not being able to believe some of the characters' actions would frustrate me. This would be one of those "beach" reads for me.
Sometimes that makes it hard. But it is a great read for the beach! Thanks for stopping by!
Sounds interesting
