Top Ten Tuesday: 10 New To Me Authors in 2017

Posted January 2, 2018 by Lisa Mandina in / 14 Comments

Top Ten Tuesday is sponsored by The Broke and The Bookish.

This is fun to look back and see what authors I read for the first time in 2017, even if they weren’t brand new debut authors.  It’s really fun because I love seeing how some of those authors are now favorites that I can’t imagine not reading!

1.  Emma Chase

2.  Tara Sivec

3.  Meghan March

4.  C.M. Stunich

5.  Penny Reid

6.  Ruta  Sepetys

7.  Helena Hunting

8.  K. Bromberg

9.  Cambria Hebert

10.  Cora Kenborn

There are several more I could list, but I’ll stop with these.  Have you read any of them?

  1. Most of these are new to me but the ones I know I really want to read! I've heard raves about Emma Chase and Penny Reid and Ruta Sepetys' books sound wonderful and heartbreaking.

  2. Oh, I haven't read some of the authors on your list but I have read two: Emma Chase and Penny Reid. I thought Emma Chase was okay and read the third book in her Royal series after the royal engagement was announced (LOL) but I didn't like that book by Penny Reid. It was one of my DNF's last year.

    • Hmm, I wonder which Penny Reid book you read? Her Beard series is okay, but not my cup of tea really because of the motorcycle gang aspect, which isn't my favorite, but I love her Knitting series. Thanks for visiting!

I was going to read Penny Reid next month! Her books sound like a lot of fun! I was going to start with The Hooker and the Hermit and I also got The Player and the Pixie. I love the writing on the covers about the pictures of the guys, so funny lol! And yay for having Cambria Hebert on your list too!
