The Cover Characteristic meme is hosted at  Sugar and Snark.   Here are the guidelines:

Each
week we will post a characteristic and choose 5 of our favorite covers
with that characteristic. If you want to join in and share your 5
favorite covers with the weeks particular characteristic, then just make
a post, grab the meme picture (or make your own) and leave your URL in
Linky (so we can visit).

You
don’t even need to participate, just stopping by and saying hi would be
great! Don’t forget to stop by the other participants!

This week I decided to join in, I thought clocks would be an easy one, but it wasn’t quite as easy as I thought.  Although I did have a few that popped into my head right away.  Here are 5 covers of books I’ve read that have clocks on them, in no particular order.

  1. Ooh glad you jumped in this week! The Nancy Drew one of course- awesome!- and I like All Our Yesterdays too. I'm not sure I realized til now there was a clock in that thing on the ground- maybe I just glossed over it? Falling in Love With English Boys is a cute, bright cover too.

  2. The Secret of the Old Clock got me seriously addicted to the Nancy Drew series! I still find myself flipping through the pages at times when I'm bored!

    • I really need to go back and re-read at least one of the Nancy Drew books, they are the ones that really got me reading when I was a kid! Thanks for stopping by!
