The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s
a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog,
showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is
coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme. Last two weeks were busy, so I didn’t get one done last Sunday, so this will be about the last two weeks.

- August End of the Month Wrap Up Post
It was kind of a busy two weeks. I did get my two reviews a week goal met. I got my End of the Month post done, as well as my Discussion Post for the month. I also started the sign ups for my annual September is for Sequels Challenge, I’d love to have someone, anyone join in! This will be the first year I haven’t had anyone join in. Even my first year starting it I had people. So go HERE to sign up! I’ve started my first sequel for the challenge, making pretty good progress with it I think. Since school has been back in I haven’t gotten to walk three times a week as easily. Although with a 3 day weekend this weekend, I’ve gotten the 3rd time in for last week. And I bumped the 3 miles up to 4. Which I’m going to try to keep getting my 3 times a week in, but do 4 miles each time. And it’s September, so I’m getting so excited for NOLA Story Con at the end of the month!!!
Coming up this week on the blog:
- Reviews: Calendar Girl Vol. 2 by Audrey Carlan, Lead (Stage Dive #3) by Kylie Scott
- Cover Reveals: Confessions of an Undercover Girlfriend by Kay Marie, and Match Fit by Amelie S. Duncan
- Possible Swoon Thursday
- Possible Top 10 Tuesday – something to do with TV shows, either my all time top, current top, or new tops
- Possible Waiting on Wednesday
- Possible reviews: The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich, His Every Need by Terri L. Austin, Inclusions by Emily Duvall, Moonlight on Nightingale Way (On Dublin Street #6) by Samantha Young, and Redeeming Trust (sequel to Broken Trust) by Michelle Sodaro
It’ll be a nice short week thanks to Labor Day. So I’m looking forward to that. As I mentioned above I’m going to try to do 4 miles on each of my 3 days at the gym. I’m going to try really hard to get some reviews done and double up on those posts to hurry up and get going. I’m also hoping to really get some more writing done, especially to get ready for NaNoWriMo, hoping to get more outlining, etc. done.
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
It is a way for us to share the new books we have collected. I have a ton of free/cheap ebooks since the last time I did a Sunday Post, but I’ve narrowed it down to just the past week’s, and even that will still be a lot. I do have three physical books to share as well.

Wow, a ton of books! And yay for the aRC. Weregirl looks kinda cool, and I like these short weeks too. I think we need more of these- Monday can just start being a designated reading day, right? lol have a good weekend!
I think 4 day weeks for everyone! 🙂 Of course as a part time retail worker, I know that isn't possible for those jobs. But I'm going to enjoy my day off!
Ooo, congrats on the Illusion ARC! It's gorgeous. I hope you enjoy all of your new books, Lisa!
Have a fabulous week. 🙂
Check out my STS post!
I am still on a high from the Illusion ARC surprise! Thanks for stopping by!
Yeah, that's quite the haul of books! Looks like you're all set for a while. Good luck on the extra mile. It's soon going to cool down here a bit and I plan to take up walking again. The summer's are just too brutal.
My Sunday Post
It's gotten back up into the 80s again today, so I'll probably have to go to the gym. The problem with that is that the treadmills won't go for longer than an hour. So I guess I'll do my three miles. Then I'll start the treadmill over for the last mile. I'm so ready for the cool weather all the time so I can keep walking outside. Thanks for visiting!
That's awesome you got an ARC of Illusion! I'm in London until the end of the week and then starting a new job, etc. otherwise I'd do your Sequels for September event. I hope people sign up!

Ah darn! But yay for London! Can't wait to hear all about your trip! Thanks for stopping by!
I think I'm going to have a bit of a crazy week myself. On Wednesday the new mattress gets delivered so that means change bed, wash sheets, hoover hall and bedroom and have shower, plus downstairs it's time to get the furniture moved so we can start painting the walls. Great. I'm so looking forward to it!
Oooh, nice to have a new mattress though! But new things do mean so much has to be done around the house. Hope your week goes well other than all that craziness! Thanks for visiting!
Oh my gosh-4 miles! I can barely get through 1 on my elliptical! You rock!! Enjoy your books! I am super jealous you get to have Jay Crownover sign books at NOLA con. she is a favorite of mine!
I feel like I haven't done anything if I don't do at least 3. There was a time when I was doing 5 miles at a time. I'd like to get back to that. Not sure that I will though. I cannot wait to meet Jay, I am so in love with her Marked Men! Thanks for stopping by!
Okay, you convinced me to sign up for your September challenge. I do need to read the next two Magisterium books anyway because I have the third one for review and it was released August 30th. And I think I can sneak in two other sequels as well – I have A TON I need to read, so… this will be good motivation! I'll put my sign-up post up tomorrow or Wednesday. 🙂
Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
Yay!!! I just went and commented on your sign up. And there you go, the two Magisterium books are sequels right there!
You had a busy week last week and I noticed I missed some posts that I need to go take a look at. It was nice to have the holiday today even though it was just a lazy day for us. I need those once in a while. 🙂 I forgot about the September Sequels Challenge, which I normally join. I need to see if I can fit some of those in, so I'm so glad you mentioned it! Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous week!
Tressa @ Wishful Endings
Yeah, lazy days are just as nice as holidays as anything else sometimes! I would love to have you join into the challenge if you end up with some sequels on your September TBR. If not, totally understand! Thanks for returning the stop!
You got some great wins lately! Weregirl looks good. I hope you enjoy all your new reads and reach your fitness goals for the week!
I am excited for Weregirl! I already know I won't get 4 miles each day this week during my 3 days to exercise, but hope to at least get the 3 days still. Thanks for visiting!
