The Cover Characteristic meme is hosted at  Sugar and Snark.   Here are the guidelines:

 Each
week we will post a characteristic and choose 5 of our favorite covers
with that characteristic. If you want to join in and share your 5
favorite covers with the weeks particular characteristic, then just make
a post, grab the meme picture (or make your own) and leave your URL in
Linky (so we can visit).

You
donโ€™t even need to participate, just stopping by and saying hi would be
great! Donโ€™t forget to stop by the other participants!

When I started searching for this, I assumed I’d end up with a bunch of covers with just a symbol of an arrow on them. Turns out I didn’t have as many of those as I thought.  So I ended up with two covers that have an arrow, from a bow and arrow, as my choice for this.  In fact it is one of those that is my favorite.  Here are my top 5!

  1. What a fun theme, to look for arrows on book covers. Did you have a hard time finding five? I am one of those irritating people who barely notices covers unless they are lovely and different. I would flunk this meme. Ha! Three more days of school. I'm dying. The end is such a slog.

    • It is a ton of fun! I actually enjoy it because what I do is go to Goodreads and look through all the books I've read. Like you, I don't always notice covers, but this is fun! ๐Ÿ™‚ Three days left, Aah! It's almost done though!

I love that most of your covers are completely different than mine, especially thinking I had such a hard time finding covers in the first place haha. The Kami Garcia covers look great as well.

  3. I can't think of a single book I've read that has arrows on the cover. In fact, I can't think of too many where arrows were even part of the story. ๐Ÿ™‚ Great pics!
