The Cover Characteristic meme is hosted at Sugar and Snark. Here are the guidelines:
Each
week we will post a characteristic and choose 5 of our favorite covers
with that characteristic. If you want to join in and share your 5
favorite covers with the weeks particular characteristic, then just make
a post, grab the meme picture (or make your own) and leave your URL in
Linky (so we can visit).
You
don’t even need to participate, just stopping by and saying hi would be
great! Don’t forget to stop by the other participants!
This was a kind of fun one, although there weren’t quite as many in the books I’d read as I had thought there would be. But here are the top 5 for me.

And my favorite:
Can you think of any of your favorite books that have maps on the covers?
I feel like there SHOULD be more books with maps on the cover, but I can't really think of any right now!
Thanks for sharing,

Oh I'm sure there are lots more. Just none that I've read. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
I like Quest of the Missing Map and I think The Mapmaker's Sons might be my favorite.
You know me, if I can find a Nancy Drew cover! 🙂 The Mapmaker's Sons almost made my number one spot, because I was part of a new publishing company and helped read it to suggest if it should be published or not. Thanks for stopping by!
The Mapmaker's son is my favorite out of all of these! Great covers!
And that's a neat one for me because I had a hand in helping get it published! Thanks for visiting!
I seldom ever think of any besides what you show, but this time, I thought "Paper Towns". Some of those covers showed a map. 🙂

Oh yeah, that is a good one! Thanks!
I don't think I've ever seen the first four covers you've chosen before. Great list!
Interesting! It's cool to see new covers and find new books I think. Thanks for stopping by!
I like the Mapmaker's son!
It is a good one!
Nancy Drew always wins in my book 😀
Thanks for joining in last week 🙂
