The Cover Characteristic meme is hosted at Sugar and Snark. Here are the guidelines:
Each
week we will post a characteristic and choose 5 of our favorite covers
with that characteristic. If you want to join in and share your 5
favorite covers with the weeks particular characteristic, then just make
a post, grab the meme picture (or make your own) and leave your URL in
Linky (so we can visit).
You
don’t even need to participate, just stopping by and saying hi would be
great! Don’t forget to stop by the other participants!
This is another one that there were a lot of covers. So I tried to narrow it down to the ones that were not necessarily exact pictures of skylines, but more of a shadow or outline. Even with that, I still ended up with 10. Here they are:

So, what do you think of my cover choices? Can you think of any other books with skylines on their covers? And if you think you'd have as much fun as I do with this meme, next week's topic is statues, you can start working on your post now!
Darkworld is my favorite too!
Besides how awesome the book is, the cover is just beautiful!
I love the City of Bones cover! That's probably my favorite. But I also love Starry Night, Darkworld, and Feuds. The Darkworld cover is so unique!
There were some great skyline covers out there, this was a fun week!
I like Monkey Love, it's so quirky. I had to click it to see the larger version. 🙂 And Me vs Me I like too- i like the skyline at night vs daytime scene. Starry Night is a good one too- that or Monkey Love might be my fave.
I found quite a few from my "chick lit" book phase that had skylines on them, believe it or not.
I love the skyline covers! They're all so eye catching. I think I like Starry Night best but they're all pretty!
I do love the cover of Starry Night! They were all so much fun to find!
Isla and The Happily Ever After and If I Should Die – love the colors. After The End – very doom and gloom
Those are all good ones! If I should die was almost one I picked.
There's far more books with skylines on them than I would have thoughts. Wonder what Me Vs Me is about. 🙂

I know, right? And depending on your definition of skyline, there could have been so many more! I chose to just go with city skylines, as you can tell.
I saw a book called First Born-has a skyline on cover-love your themes!!
Interesting, I'll have to go check it out! Thanks for stopping by!
That Darkworld cover is gorgeous! Thanks for joining in last week 🙂
