Waiting on Wednesday: My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where we spotlight upcoming releases that we’re eagerly awaiting.  I’ve chosen what I believe is another standalone novel this week.  A historical fiction told by three of my favorite YA authors.  The blurb doesn’t give away much, here it is from Goodreads:

For fans of The Princess Bride comes the comical, fantastical, romantical, (not) entirely true story of Lady Jane Grey.

Lady Jane Grey, sixteen, is about to be married to a total stranger—and caught up in an insidious plot to rob her cousin, King Edward, of his throne. But that’s the least of Jane’s problems. She’s about to become Queen of England. Like that could go wrong.

Now, it sounds really good, just from that little bit, but if you’re still not sold, you can read the prologue on the book’s website HERE.

That’s my choice this week.  What book are you eagerly awaiting?

    • I am a little embarrassed to say I've never seen The Princess Bride, but I know everyone says it is hilarious, so I'm sure that means this will be great! Thanks for returning the stop!

  1. I've seen this one around but haven't read much about it! It does sound pretty good – I think this is one I'll have to give a chance!
