Waiting on Wednesday: Untamed (Splintered #3.5) by A.G. Howard

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where we spotlight upcoming releases that we’re eagerly awaiting.  For the second week in a row I’ve chosen a book of novellas that go with a series I love.  I remember when I finished read the third book in the series, Ensnared, and I think I tweeted about it, and the author replied cryptically that there might be more to read.  And then she announced this, and I’m so excited!  Here is the blurb from Goodreads:

Alyssa Gardner went down the rabbit hole and took control of her destiny. She survived the battle for Wonderland and the battle for her heart. In this collection of three novellas, join Alyssa and her family as they look back at their favorite memories of Wonderland. In Six Impossible Things, Alyssa recalls the most precious moments of her human life with Jeb and her immortal life with Morpheus. Alyssa’s mother reminisces about her own time in Wonderland and how she gave up the crown to rescue the man who would become her husband in The Boy in the Web. And Morpheus delves into Jeb’s memories of the events of Splintered in The Moth in the Mirror, available in print for the first time.

Of course I’ve already read the last novella, but I’m excited to read the other two now!  Have you read this series?  Are you as excited as I am for more?  What book are you eagerly awaiting this week?

  1. I need this one to complete my collection 😉 I haven't yet read Ensnared (and I don't particularly want to, the ending is atrocious), but I need a copy of Untamed just so I'll have the matchy matchy set! I hope you enjoy this book when you read it!

    Have a fabulous day 🙂

    Check out my WoW post!

    • Ah, I kind of liked the ending. But I guess everyone has their own things they like about stories. But yes, we have to have all the pretty covers! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I haven't started this series either, but really want to. I don't know how I will ever get through everything I want to read. These are some of the best covers I have ever seen though.

    • I know what you're saying. I have so many things to read already and I just keep adding more! Plus my favorite authors keep writing more, and I can't NOT read their books. But these do have the greatest covers. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Ohhh, I read the first book for like last year, can't really remember, and haven't able to read the next books.. I should probably start reading it again.. Great pick Lisa.. 🙂 thanks for visiting my blog..

  4. I just started this series earlier this year. I loved Splintered and already have a copy of Unhinged. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your post. I'm definitely going to have to add this to my TBR list!

  5. The funny thing is that I used to be SO interested in this series, but I read spoilers for the end of it and so decided that I'm probably just never going to read it, haha. But I'm always on the hunt for Alice in Wonderland related stories!

  6. I've only read the first book and I need to get onto the other two now that they're out. I didn't love the first one but I did enjoy it. I love books that end up getting another book of novellas. I don't know why.

  7. Oh my goodness this cover is gorgeous!! I wasn't a fan of the first book, but I might pick up the second one when I have a lull in my reading schedule… Great choice! Hope you enjoy!
