Stacking the Shelves – February 22nd, 2015

Posted February 22, 2015 by Lisa Mandina in Stacking the Shelves / 38 Comments

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
It is a way for us to share the new books we have collected.  I’m very proud of myself that this will be a small post this week.  It might seem a bit large in the free e-books, but that’s because I forgot to share those last week.

Physical books purchased:

I won a $15 gift card to Amazon, and since that is the only place I can get a physical copy of this book, that’s what I immediately spent it on! Can’t wait to read it!

Free e-books:

I know it looks like I got a lot, but all but one of these I think was from last week and didn’t get put on my STS for some reason.
Netgalley:
I did very good in only getting one e-galley. Although I may have requested one on Edelweiss that I’m waiting on to be approved.
And that’s it!  I did win a $25 gift card to Barnes and Noble, but I spent it on a book for a gift for my brother, so I’m not going to share that here.
That’s what I added this week, and some last week.  What did you add to your shelves this week?

    • You can buy it as an e-book on any site, but to get the beautiful cover to put on your actual physical bookshelf, right now it is only on Amazon. 🙂 I tried to be nice, plus, I am kinda broke, so it was nice to have that bonus to spend on the gift! Thanks for stopping by!

    • I loved the cover of Undertow and then when I read what it was about and saw the Netgalley option, I was able to get it really quickly which was cool! Thanks for visiting!

  1. Love JLA to pieces, I can't wait to see what you'll think of Wicked^^ Lots of good lookings books here – gotta love freebies and cheap e-books 😀 Happy reading Lisa^^ xx

  2. I got a physical copy of Wicked a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully I'll get around to it soon. I just got Wildalone recently and I'm looking forward to reading it, it sounds very interesting. Great haul, enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a great week!

    • When I won the gift card to Amazon I knew that I had to buy Wicked. I figured the Cupcakes book was free, so why not. I love cupcakes, so that drew me in. Not sure when I'll read it, but it's there when and if I need or want to read it. That's cool that you won it and its sequel! Thanks for visiting!

Nice haul! I'm curious about Undertow, too, but I figure my backlog means I won't get to it before it's out anyway. Hope you enjoy!

    • I know, but I looked at the publishing date of Undertow and figured I was okay for that time period. As it gets closer to summer, I know I can add in a few more, since I am a school librarian, so kind of have summers off. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

  4. I have SOOO many of Armentrout's books on my TBR list and now here is another one I need to add. I hope you enjoy it and I will definitely look for your review.

Thanks for stopping by my STS!!

    • I went in and added most of her books the other day on Goodreads now that I've decided to become obsessed with her books. Hope to get to it soon, but who knows. Thanks for returning the stop!

    • The cover of course grabbed me, and now that I've read a few more of her books, I couldn't resist. I think I will just love her characters no matter what the story. We'll see how it goes! Thanks for stopping by!
