Stacking the Shelves – January 18th, 2015

Posted January 18, 2015 by Lisa Mandina in Stacking the Shelves / 14 Comments

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
It is a way for us to share the new books we have collected.  I tried to stop, really I did, but so many shiny new things showed up that I couldn’t help myself!

E-galleys:

Okay, I literally squealed when I saw The Sin-Eater’s Daughter on Edelweiss, so I immediately requested it then sat on pins and needles waiting to hear, but I got it!!  The 2nd one is a sequel to Now That You’re Here, so it will be interesting to get the other side of the story.   I don’t know why I’ve waited so long, but I finally went and signed up for Xpresso Book Tours and saw it was up for a review tour. So I requested Insanity and was able to get it to read.
Free e-books:

Hmm, they were all free, so yeah. Physical books:

The first two books I won Book Munchies Midwinter Eve Giveaway, and they are ARCs.  The last one I broke down and bought since I’d only had it as an egalley that expired a while back.
So that is what I added to my shelf this week. What about you?  Did you add anything this week?

  1. Oh! The Sin Eater's Daughter is available? I gotta go find that one! 🙂

I got Glow form one of my Book Outlet purchases, I haven't touched it yet though. It looks like an easy read.

    Have a fab week Lisa!

  2. Great additions to your shelves, Lisa! I've heard great things about The Sin Eater's Daughter, but don't have an ARC, yet. I haven't done an Xpresso tour for a while. I've really been cutting back. Insanity looks really good though. I may go check it out. Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous week!!

    • I'm not going to sign up for a bunch more choices, I just see some of the really good books she's had on them, so I can't wait to maybe get in on some of those. Thanks for stopping by!

    • Hmm, that's too bad. I probably won't read your review until after I read the book myself. I kind of like to judge for myself when I hear there are bad reviews. But I'll be sure to read your review after I read it so I can compare or argue. 🙂 Thanks for visiting me!
