Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where we spotlight upcoming releases that we’re eagerly awaiting. My choice this week is a sequel to a book that wasn’t quite what I thought it was going to be, but I still want to see what happens next. Here is the blurb from Goodreads:

I definitely need to know exactly what is going on with Juneau’s family and the ones who were in charge of it. So I’m sure I’ll be picking this one up when it comes out.

I agree, I was kind of eh when it went to the weird place it did, but I do want to read on and find out what happens and how the story will wrap up.

Great pick! I'd actually forgotten that the sequel was coming so thanks for the reminder 🙂 I wasn't a huge fan of the first book but I still want to know what's going on so will pick up a copy at some point.
I was trying to find something for WOW that I didn't already have an e-galley of, and this one popped into my head. Same as you, wasn't the biggest fan of the first book, but I do need to know what else happens.
I haven't read the first one and while this sounds interesting I don't know that it's something I will pick up. I hope you like it more than the first one 🙂
