This weekly meme is sponsored by Book Journey, and we talk about things we read last week, and our plans for what we’ll read this coming week.
Last week:
Last week was actually a pretty good week for reviews. I got four books reviewed and posted last week. A couple were e-galleys that I was kind of in a hurry to get done, partly so I could get to the book I’m reading now! One was a book that was the last one for my September Sequels Challenge.
- The Fall by Bethany Griffin
- Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick
- Stray by Elissa Sussman
- Light (Gone #6) by Michael Grant
Currently reading:
The book that I was denied an e-galley of, so I emailed and practically begged for another chance for the e-galley, or even better, an actual ARC, and I was rewarded with an ARC!!!!! The one that I really want to be reading right now instead of working (or blogging). The book that I would be done with tonight if it wasn’t that I had to sleep at some point, and there is new tv on tonight.
This week:
My September Sequel challenge, among other things, got me off track on reading my e-galleys and ARCs. So I’m really trying to get back on track with all that. Back to reading one physical book, probably an ARC, followed by an e-galley, and so forth. So here is my tentative plan for the week after I finish Blue Lily, Lily Blue:
- Glory O’Brien’s History of the Future by A.S. King (e-galley)
- Endgame: The Calling by James Frey and Nils Johnson-Shelton (ARC from BEA)
- Beware the Wild by Natalie C. Parker (e-galley)
The last one is a maybe, I don’t have my list of e-galleys here with me while I’m writing this post to be positive. And again, it will depend how busy I am this week. As of today, I have tonight and the next two nights to read at home. But there’s a possibility I may go hand out with my dad one of these nights while my stepmom is out of town, so that will take up a bit of time for reading. So those are my reading plans for the week, what plans do you have?
Enjoy your reading this week! I have a lot to catch up on with Cinder & Throne of Glass… 😉

I'm not very familiar with the Stiefvater books but they seem so popular- must be good! Hope it's a great one…
Enjoy your reading this week!
I love her books, you should give them a try!
Enjoy your most anticipated book. I am behind on the series and need to catch up.
It's soooo good! I love it! It always scares me a bit to get back into them, afraid I won't remember all that happened because of how in depth the stories are, but I catch on pretty quick. Plus the author or other blogs usually do some kind of read along of the book before when the next one is coming out. Thanks for visiting!
She's actually coming down to Miami next month and I can't wait to meet her. I haven't read any of her books, but I cant pass up having her sign them so book shopping I shall go!
Thanks for stopping by Owl Always Be Reading
She's so nice! And so awesome! I take every chance to meet her when she comes to my town. She's supposed to be here again in November as well, so I'll probably go see her and get this book autographed as well. Thanks for stopping by my post!
