Because I don’t really have time once again to do the activity of Feature and Follow Friday, I’m going to participate once again in Friday 56, sponsored by Freda’s Voice. Here are the rules:
Rules:
*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader
*Find any sentence, (or few, just don’t spoil it) that grabs you.
*Post it.
*Add your (url) post below in Linky. Add the post url, not your blog url. It’s that simple.
“I didn’t get into the party. One, I wasn’t in the mood, and two, dancing with the Winter fey didn’t seem like such a good idea. Especially after I saw a group of drunk, glamour-high redcaps swarm a boggart and tear it limb from limb. It was like a mosh pit from hell.”
And just like last time I did this, I have a giveaway going on, be sure to stop by my Fierce Reads Giveaway and enter to be one of 5 winners who will get a book from the list!
I'm definitely curious about the redcaps, boggart, and Winter fey! The cover is intriguing. It looks so light and airy, but the title sounds serious and heavy.
Here's my Friday56/Book Beginnings post.
It is a pretty deep book. And the covers are pretty!! Thanks for stopping by, and I'll check out your post as well!
I really liked this book!!
Happy weekend!
Just finished it! It was good, just like the first one. Thanks for stopping by!
I would like this book. I see the author's name all the time.
I'd seen the author's name around all the time, and when I finally picked up her books, I loved them! Hope you'll give them a chance too!
Not really familiar with these although I've seen them around a lot, but I like fae creatures with a dark slant- sounds like a little of that here! Not good for the poor boggart though. 🙂
You should definitely try these if you like that type of fae creatures. These definitely fit the bill! Thanks for stopping by!
Hmmm…fantasy creatures drunk…That's an interesting image.
It is a fun thing to read about! Thanks for stopping by!
Ahhh this book. Good times, good times. 😉 Thanks for sharing!
This book worked perfect for the Friday 56, as the others I had around at the time didn't have anything very interesting on page 56.
