September is for Sequels Giveaway Hop

Posted September 1, 2013 by Lisa Mandina in / 261 Comments

I’m so excited to be co-hosting my very first giveaway hop with I Am a Reader.  This hop came about from the Challenge I set up last year and am continuing this year, to catch up on those sequels that often get set on the TBR pile due to all the new books bloggers get to read.  My goal was to try to get as many of those read in September as possible.  If you’d like to join the challenge, you can go HERE.  So along with that theme, this is a giveaway where you can win a sequel in any series you want from The Book Depository, and it is international as long as they deliver to your country.  Because this is a sequels hop, you cannot pick the first book in a series, but any one from the 2nd on to whatever number that series is on now!  It does need to stay below $20 though.
There are over 100 blogs participating, so once you’ve entered my Rafflecopter below, be sure to hop on along to the other blogs to see what other awesome prizes are available.

  1. I think I might choose The Liberator by Veronica Scott. Oohhh, or maybe Crash Into You by Katy. McGarry, if I could choose a pre-order.
Love this hop, it's a shame I missed the sign up, I would have participated myself 🙂
    Thank you for the giveaway!

  2. You know, there are so many books I'm looking forward to, I don't have a clu which one I'd pick! Maybe Allegiant? Or possibly… oh man, I have no idea!

Thanks very much for the giveaway!

  3. Faking it by Cora Carmack,or Being me by Lisa Renee Jones,or Safe with me from Kristen Proby 🙂

Thanks for the amazing hop giveaway 🙂

  4. I would get the 5th book in the game of thrones series. I have the first 4 in paperback and the 5th doesn't come out until October so I'm waiting (not so) patiently for it

  5. I'd pick either Spells by Aprilynne Pike, Spellcaster by Cara Lynn Shultz or Until I Die by Amy Plum, but I'm picky about the editions of my books (I need my serie-books to match), so if the ones I want are not available, I'd pick Hover by Melissa West 😀

  6. I would choose For Every Season (Amish Vines and Orchard) Hardcover – Large Print
by Cindy Woodsmall.Thank you for the opportunity to win.

  7. Anonymous

If I hadn't already preordered Allegiant, I'd choose that….but instead I think I'd choose one of the books from the Pink Carnation series by Lauren Willig

  8. I really want to buy and read The Mortal Instruments. so It will probably be one of those books in the series. Thank you for the chance to win another book 🙂 Good luck to all & Happy Reading! 🙂

  10. I'd love to win the next in Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series: "Written in My Own Heart's Blood: A Novel"…or Elizabeth Chadwick's "Scarlet Lion" (William Marshall series)or George RR Martin's "A Clash of Kings". Thanks.

  11. Um, I'd pick something by Richelle Mead, most likely… I'm not sure though. Too many series that I've already started and I don't know what I'll pick!
    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  13. One I can think of off the top of my head is one of Aimee & David Thurlo's Sister Agatha Mysteries. I just finished BAD FAITH and would like to read another — there are 5 more in the Sister Agatha series.
But I know there are other series I'd like too — Sue Grafton's alphabet is always good. But I think I'd rather have something that I cannot check out from our library (and it's a small one so they do not have many books).

  14. I'm not entirely sure. So many sequels I need to read.
A Few that come to head that I might choose one of: Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy #6), Elegy (Watersong #4), Through the Zombie Glass (Alice in Zombieland #2), Onyx (Lux #2), Uncommon Criminals (Heist Society #2), A Tale of Two Centuries (My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century #2), or Crash Into You (Pushing the Limits #3).

Not really sure if you'd allow pre-orders, and not sure really of which book I might choose. But, I like these.

  15. I'd want Gabriel's Rapture. Sylvain Reynard writes so beautifully and the writing style is quite different from what I've read.
    Thank your for the giveaway!
