So I found this on another blog I follow and thought it would be fun to do as well. It’s sponsored by Jennifer at Crazy-For-Books.com. It’s a place for bloggers and readers to connect and share our love for the written word. And each week there is a question, and here is today’s question:
Do you ever wish you would have named your blog something different?
Why yes, I do, all the time! That is a great question. I have a friend named Charlotte who has an awesome name for her blog: Charlotte’s Web of Books. The best I could come up with was an alliteration type title: Lisa Loves Literature. And in a way, my title is a bit misleading. Normally people think of literature as the classics, the award winning books. And not that I don’t read those, but my tastes run to a bit quirkier titles as well as tons of YA books.
Good. I love YA too. Not just zombies either. 🙂
Just hopping through! Love the site!
Stopping by on the hop! Very cute blog! I love the name too.

It was hard for me to come up with a blog name. My favorites had all been taken.
I am happy with my blog name. Short and easy to spell.
Hope you will stop in and take a look around:

Hello! I found you through the hop!
For me, I won’t change my blog name. For me, the blog name holds the identity of the blog and the blogger. I’ve been blogging for more than a year now. I’m used to it.
Here’s my post: http://shusky20.blogspot.com/2011/02/book-blogger-hop-15.html
I’d like to invite you over to my blog as I share the love with YA giveaways! They end on Feb. 28. I hope you drop by!
Thank you and have a nice weekend!
YA is not my favourite genre but looking through we have similar interest. I am a new follower.
I like the LLL but I agree some still consider literature to be classics.

I love alliteration, so I like your blog name a lot 🙂 I hear you about the literature part though.
What a great question this week. I like your blog name.
As for me, I love my blog name. I knew I wanted it to have my first name, "Madigan" in it, as it's a pretty distinctive name, and I wanted it to be short and easy to remember. Hence, "Madigan Reads"
Sometimes I wish I had gone with something more generic sounding… for the terrible reason that it might sound less self-aggrandizing if I ever decided to put my blog on my professional resume.
I am jealous of Galleysmith's name and concept… her header is an ocean of books. So cool!
Overall, I'm really happy with my blog name though.
Lisa Loves Literature is a great name — YA books ARE literature! So there!
